Borel Out, Mine That Bird Needs New Jockey

Trainer Chip Woolley said Wednesday that he and jockey Calvin Borel could not agree on a long-term commitment to ride the gelding, scheduled to run the West Virginia Derby on Aug. 1. Woolley wants someone committed to ride Mine That Bird through the Breeders’ Cup in November.
